8th January 2021
In the light of the high rates of community transmission of Covid-19 we have decided to suspend public worship for the time being
It has not been an easy decision to make but for the sake of everyone, particularly our elderly and vulnerable members of our church community, we thought it is the right thing to do. The Church will be open for private prayer on Sundays and Wednesdays between 10am until mid-day. The situation will be reviewed at the end of January
Due to Covid 19 our usual pattern of Church Services has had to change
Our regular services (for the time being) are as follows
10am – All Age Worship (Holy Communion on 1st Sunday)
4pm – Holy Communion (1st, 2nd & 3rd Sundays in Arabic, 4th (&5th) Sundays in English)
10.30am – A said service of Holy Communion or Morning Prayer
Unfortunately, at present, we are unable to join in with ‘live’ singing and we have to do without our Choir and Organist. However, where we are able, we use our Audio Visual system as an alternative.
We have a system in place to enable social distancing of different family groups for our regular worship. Under current guidelines the wearing of face coverings whilst in Church is compulsory, unless you are a member one of the groups exempted by the Government.
For a complete list of our Services, as well as other activities please see the Calendar on the ‘Home Page’
